About the Opportunity
We are looking for a Business Development Associate to join our business winning team and provide support to the business development team in curating leads and opportunities through the sales pipeline from initiation through to contracting.
The BDA will also provide support to the broader Silentium Defence business in the administration of the capture process while this role is not customer facing its key for supporting customer facing activities.
In this position you will:
- Support the BW team in keeping CRM system data updated including but not limited to opportunities contact details and customer engagement records.
- Administer the CRM system as required including modifications to the CRM system to accommodate changing workflow and business processes and administration of accounts.
- Support the BW team and the broader business with the capture process including but not limited to scheduling of gate reviews recording of actions during gate reviews and preparation for gate reviews.
- Preparing accurate and timely reports to the business winning team and board.
- Perform market and customer research as directed.
- Support the BW team and the broader business in producing bids and proposals including but not limited to scheduling of regular reviews and meetings as required recording and tracking of action item closures etc.
- Work within the Business Winning team and other cross functional teams in the business to execute and evolve the business winning process as the business grows.
- Support the BW team in ensuring that there is regular customer contact for each opportunity in the CRM system.

About You
To be successful you will have:
- Bachelors degree in business marketing management (desirable).
- Experience in business winning support is (mandatory).
- Demonstrated track record in developing and maintaining solid business relationships (mandatory).
- Australian citizen with the ability to obtain a minimum NV1 security clearance (mandatory).
- 2-3 years minimum experience in a business winning or supporting role (desirable).
Equally important is your ability to work in a team think critically adapt to changing priorities and bring a solutions-focused mindset to challenges.

Employment Eligibility
- Applicants must be an Australian citizen and have ability to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance with a minimum requirement of NV1 clearance.
- Candidates must also meet ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) requirements.
