Job Opportunity: Medical Director - Maternal Fetal Medicine in Grand Rapids MI
Join a dynamic and experienced team in the vibrant region of West Michigan as a Medical Director for Maternal Fetal Medicine. The role encompasses overseeing Maternal Fetal Medicine services collaborating with top specialists in a supportive environment and enhancing maternal care programs in the picturesque surroundings of Grand Rapids and the lakeshore.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the Maternal Fetal Medicine service line.
- Deliver comprehensive patient-centered care for individuals with high-risk pregnancies.
- Collaborate with caregivers to ensure coordinated care across specialties.
- Engage in program development to enhance Maternal Fetal Medicine initiatives.
- Mentor and provide guidance to medical students and residents.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine medical practice experience (excluding training).
- 2 years of leadership experience in a relevant medical setting is highly preferred.
- Not accepting new graduates; experience required.
- Open to H1B visa candidates but cannot accept J1 waivers.
Licenses and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN - Required
- Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine - Required
- Valid Michigan medical license or willingness to obtain - Required
- DEA registration or willingness to obtain - Required
- BLS and ACLS certification or willingness to obtain - Required
