Job Description
Job Title: Medical Director - Maternal Fetal Medicine
Join a leading healthcare provider in Grand Rapids MI as a dynamic and experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Medical Director. This position offers the chance to make a lasting impact on the lives of patients and their families overseeing a dedicated Maternal Fetal Medicine team right in the heart of West Michigan covering both Grand Rapids and the lakeshore. Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical leadership and the Maternal Fetal Medicine service line ensuring the highest quality care for complex cases.
- Provide comprehensive and patient-centered care for individuals with high-risk pregnancies including diagnostic and management services.
- Collaborate with administrative and clinical leadership to develop and enhance the Maternal Fetal Medicine program.
- Mentor medical students and residents providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of Maternal Fetal Medicine practice experience (not including training) is required.
- 2 years of leadership experience or relevant training is highly preferred.
- Not accepting new graduate candidates; experience required.
- Not accepting candidates with lapsed Board Certification.
- Not accepting Locums candidates.
- Open to H1B visa candidates but cannot accept J1 waivers.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
- Board Certified in Maternal Fetal Medicine - REQUIRED
- Michigan medical license (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
- DEA certification (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
- BLS and ACLS certification (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED
