Job Summary

Join our team and play an integral role in the running of a busy hospital. Help patients visitors and staff access our wide variety of services. Answer and triage calls to the switchboard in a courteous and timely manner.

You will be flexible to work on a rotating roster across all shift times.  

You will make an impact by:

  • Working on the switchboard answering internal and external calls
  • Assisting patients visitors and staff within the hospital
  • Completing a variety of administrative duties
  • Having a strong customer service focus
  • Prioritising tasks in a timely and accurate manner
  • Managing pressure and making informed decisions according to hospital needs

To be successful in this role
You will be experienced in a service industry in reception and administration and will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

You will have:

  • Previous experience in Sports Medicine or Orthopaedic administration role
  • Medical and Radiology terminology experience
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts across the weekly roster
  • Ability to be innovative proactive and creative - if you see a better way of doing things we would love to hear!
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy in your work
