The Opportunity
The Department of Anatomy and Developmental Biology within the School of Biomedical Sciences is seeking to appoint suitably qualified Assistant Lecture/Demonstrators to contribute to the facilitation of undergraduate classes (laboratory sessions tutorials and workshops) as part of a team of anatomy educators under the supervision of the Director of the Centre for Human Anatomy Education.
The Assistant Lecturer/Demonstrator will contribute to academic activities such as resource preparation delivery of new class material student marking and feedback as well as attending additional training sessions and seminars outside of assigned class times. The commitment to our students education is paramount and by having a strong demonstrator-to-student ratio these roles serve to improve educational experiences and outcomes.
We are seeking someone with a health professional/clinical degree that includes substantial training in whole-body human anatomy (e.g. Medicine physiotherapy) who can demonstrate clinical practice experience within the last two years. Only applicants with these skills and qualifications will be considered for this position.
