Accounting Coordinator

Location

Louisville KY This position allows for a hybrid work schedule.

About the Role

Were looking for an Accounting Coordinator to join our Accounting & Finance this role youll be responsible for supporting accounts payable and receivable processes reconciling credit card statements and maintaining accurate financial records. Youll also assist with creating digital archives coordinating with internal teams and ensuring exceptional guest relations on behalf of APH. This role reports to the Director of Finance and is an essential part of maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

What Youll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Provide professional and courteous guest relations demonstrating urgency and sound judgment while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Assist in accounts payable processes including routing for approval entering data in the ERP system verifying payments and filing records.
  • Serve as a backup for daily accounts receivable processing (including printing and mailing).
  • Reconcile monthly credit card statements.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to meet deadlines and complete assigned projects.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What We Expect from You (Minimum Qualifications)

  • 12 years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of general ledger processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Note: A combination of education training and experience may be considered when competency in the role is demonstrated.

Preferred

  • Associates degree in Business Administration Finance or related field.
  • Experience with ERP and/or accounting software.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards for documents.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in an office setting within a production and distribution facility.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and document handling.
  • Occasional lifting of boxes up to 20 lbs (assistance available).
  • Must be able to maintain emotional control and confidentiality at all times.
