As the Sales Operations Senior Specialist you will provide operational expertise and input on decisions to drive business strategies forward with direct accountability of the holistic operational plan while balancing day-to-day business needs with more strategic activities. You will work cross-functionally with our Sales Operations Field Leadership Category Merchandising IT Demand Planning Marketing Finance and other respective business groups. You will support the Sales Operations leadership team with end-to-end operational ownership of one or multiple business needs.
This role is hybrid which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
What youll do
Operational Strategy & Execution Develop and execute end-to-end operational strategies that align with business objectives enhance customer and employee experiences and drive measurable business outcomes. Serve as a strategic subject matter expert for mid- to long-term initiatives and continuously evaluate opportunities for improvement.
Sales Operating Model Leadership Oversee the day-to-day sales operating model including process optimization training communication SOPs and performance measurement. Ensure retail operations are efficient consistent and aligned with broader organizational goals.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement Build strong relationships with retail corporate and field leadership to ensure operational strategies are informed by frontline needs. Partner across functions to design implement and refine initiatives with a retail operational lens.
Decision Support & Project Management Represent retail perspectives in organizational decision-making manage projects from strategy to implementation and ensure operational and sales models are aligned with business priorities. Translate feedback and insights into actionable solutions.
Team Leadership & Talent Development Foster a collaborative high-performing team environment attract and retain diverse talent and develop future leaders to meet evolving business needs. Champion the translation of vision into clear priorities and execution plans.
Basic qualifications
2 years of retail leadership or management experience
1 year of cross-functional influence and partnerships
Proficiency with MS Excel PowerPoint Word & Teams
Preferred qualifications
1 year of project management experience
1 year using Best Buy systems and technology (Symphony Tyler Feedback Tool etc.)
