POSITION Punch Press Operator
JOB LOCATION Woodville WI
STARTING DATE Immediate
EMPLOYMENT TERM Temp-to-Hire
EMPLOYMENT TYPE Full-Time
WORK HOURS (SHIFT) 1st Shift - M-Th 7:00am - 3:30pm F - 7:00am - 11:00am
STARTING PAY $17.50/ hr

REQUIRED EDUCATION High School Diploma/GED
As a punch press operator you will be responsible for operating punch press equipment to produce high quality parts while maintaining production levels consistent with position.
Responsibilities
Operate punch press and perform operations on a variety of parts as instructed by set-up manager.
Record necessary counts and operation numbers as required.
Responsible for checking parts against prints standards and specifications.
Check to insure that all safety devices and equipment are on and in working order.
Knowledge and implementation of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
Maintain adherence to company polices safety standards and good housekeeping practices.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred that includes good verbal communication basic reading and math skills.
Complete company - training programs in safety procedures as required.
Complete training in the reading of blueprints the use of inspection tools as required which may include a micrometer caliper height gauge and protractor.
Maintain attention to detail and ability to work with a variety of people in a steady-paced environment.
