Job Description:


L3Harris is looking for result driven team-orientated individual that understands the brevity of quality in relation to an organizations success. This individual should be capable of working effectively in a functional team and communicating in a cross functional capacity. Our team needs someone with a strong ability to focus prioritize and multi-task successfully while ensuring support of customer commitments and business objectives.


Essential Functions:


Perform product inspections tests and/or audits of purchased parts units materials equipment panel/module level assemblies and quality control programs to specifications.

Interpret manufacturing drawings diagrams specifications and lists to approve or reject units test setups or systems for in process or final assemblies.

Inspect and perform minor rework on defective or malfunctioning units or systems.

Maintain supporting documentation and perform sampling and testing of incoming components raw materials and build of assemblies.

Perform reviews and report performance data.

Ensure raw materials in-process and finished products meet company and test standards.

Determine or assist in determining methods and procedures necessary for inspection.

Interface with customer quality representatives or suppliers.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications:


Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or an Associates Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:


Lean/Six Sigma training (green/black belt) is a plus.

Strong written and verbal communication skills to both internal and external customers.

Strong ability to focus prioritize and multi-task successfully to drive tasks to closure to support customer commitments and business objectives.

Understanding of Windows environment including standard Microsoft Office tools is strongly preferred.

Working knowledge of quality assurance principles

AS 9100/ISO 9001 quality system experience.

Knowledge or Certifications in IPC-A-610H and IPC-620

Knowledge of Failure reporting tool

Experience with Root Cause Analysis

Experience evaluating complex electronic hardware under magnification to IPC-J-STD-001 and/or NASASTD-8739 is required.

Certified or the ability to obtain certification to the above referenced workmanship standards

Experience with engineering drawing review and interpretation

Familiarity with common measuring devices

Ability to obtain Secret Clearance

Experience in micro circuits and/or circuit card assemblies

Secret US Security Clearance


In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in New Jersey I $61000 - $113000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
