Locum - Cardiology - NP

Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology

Located in the scenic Coos Bay Oregon this facility serves as the medical center for Oregons South Coast providing a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic services. Job Responsibilities:

• Full-time (80 hours per pay period)
• Work 4 x 10-hour shifts
• Clinic hours from 07:30 AM to 04:30 PM
• Hospital hours from 07:30 AM to 04:30 PM
• Patient care split 50% inpatient and 50% outpatient
• Participate in weekly rotations between hospital and clinic settings
• Manage 15-18 clinic patients per day and 8-15 hospital patients per day
• Collaborate with 4 physicians and nursing staff
• Work with dedicated device clinic staff and a triage RN team
• Utilization of EPIC EMR for patient management

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner
• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
• Oregon license (or willingness to obtain)
• Clean background with no malpractice issues (highly preferred)
• Self Query - NPDB at the time of presentation
• CAQH login and password required at the time of offer
• DEA - Verbal Confirmation required at name clear

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (REQUIRED)
• Valid Oregon License (or ability to obtain one) (REQUIRED)
• Self Query - NPDB compliance at time of presentation (REQUIRED)
