Job Description

The Servicing Oversight functions involve monitoring and managing the activities of sub-servicers to ensure they comply with all regulatory and investor requirements. This includes conducting regular audits performing assessments verifying compliance with loan servicing standards analyzing operational processes addressing any discrepancies or issues identified and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Additionally these functions often involve communicating findings and trends to leadership and working collaboratively with sub-servicers to maintain high standards of service and compliance.

A Servicing Oversight Specialist is responsible for ensuring that mortgage servicing operations are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements company policies and industry best practices. These functions are critical to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of mortgage servicing operations and ensuring that the organization remains compliant with all relevant regulations.

Please note: This position is requires 100% on-site attendance and is located in Pontiac MI.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Compliance Monitoring: Performing audits on our sub-servicers processes
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular audits and reviews of servicing activities to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies.
  • Risk Management: Verifying that our sub-servicers comply with loan servicing regulations
  • Documentation and Reporting: Reviewing recording and analyzing all findings and reporting trends
  • Collaboration: Communicating findings and trends to leadership for remediation and corrective actions with our sub-servicer

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • 1-3 years general Mortgage Servicing experience (preferably Auditing as well)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while still ensuring quality work
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and collaborate well in a team environment
  • Positive Attitude
  • Self Starter
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
