Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified New York State licensed and board-certified Podiatrist to provide part-time on-site podiatry services to our clients. This role involves two on-site visits per month approximately 5 hours per visit seeing an average of 2025 patients per visit.The Podiatrist will work in coordination with the Facility Medical Clinic to deliver high-quality foot and ankle care to adult patients with diverse needs. Hours are subject to change based on facility requirements.

Qualifications:
- Education: Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM)
- Licensure: Active New York State podiatric license
- Certification:Board certification in podiatric medicine/surgery
- Experience:
- Demonstrated competence with diverse/age-specific populations
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Technical Requirements:
- Compliance with facility credentialing background checks TB testing mandatory training and COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
- Must bring personal PPE in compliance with CDC and OMH guidelines.
- Must maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong collaborative approach
- Meticulous documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general podiatry evaluation diagnosis and treatment for CPC patients.
- Perform toenail debridement/trimming and removal (partial or complete) as necessary.
- Shave or trim hyperkeratosis (corns and calluses).
- Incise/drain abscesses debride ulcers and treat warts.
- Administer injections (local anesthetics steroids dilute alcohol etc.).
- Prescribe appropriate interventions including medications and treatments.
- Refer patients to outside providers for surgical interventions when required.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate service logs in coordination with facility staff.
- Comply with all OSHA requirements Joint Commission standards and infection control protocols.
