Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking an experienced and dedicatedSenior Commercial Lines Account Managerto join a this role you will serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of commercial insurance clients providing excellent customer service crafting tailored solutions and managing policies with precision. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial insurance account management and demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving team collaboration and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their unique insurance needs and providing timely tailored solutions.
- Oversee day-to-day service operations including processing renewals endorsements certificates of insurance and policy changes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategies that meet client goals and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Review and analyze commercial lines insurance policies to ensure appropriate coverage and accuracy.
- Assist in the marketing of new and renewal business including preparing submissions and negotiating with carriers.
- Provide expertise and guidance to clients about policy coverages pricing and risk management options.
- Stay informed about industry trends regulatory changes and market conditions to better serve clients.
- Act as a mentor to junior team members sharing knowledge and fostering professional growth within the organization.
- Proactively handle and resolve client concerns in a timely and efficient manner.
- Participate in cross-departmental initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in commercial insurance account management or a related role.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Deep knowledge of commercial lines insurance products coverages and carriers.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused approach to building relationships.
- Proficiency in industry-related software and tools with a commitment to adopting new technology as needed.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Relevant professional designations such as CIC CRM CPCU or ARM are a strong plus.
- Experience mentoring or managing team members in a professional setting.
- Familiarity with emerging insurance technologies and innovations.
