Job Summary:

This role is for an Operating Room Registered Nurse responsible for providing skilled nursing care in the operating room. The nurse will float between units as needed and work a mix of 8 and 10-hour shifts. No on-call weekend or block scheduling is required. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1. One year of experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care in the operating room setting.
- Performing patient assessments and medication administration.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Floating between units as needed.
- Maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of employment.
- Clinical assessment medication administration and treatment planning skills.
- Interdisciplinary team collaboration skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Bachelors degree in Nursing or related field.
- Two years of hospital experience (though one year is acceptable).
Special Considerations:
- Shift lengths are a mix of 8 and 10 hours depending on facility needs.
- No on-call weekend or block scheduling is required.
