Job Overview/Summary:
We are seeking a responsible and customer-focused Medical Equipment Delivery Technician to join our team. This role involves delivering setting up and maintaining medical equipment in patient homes providing education on proper usage and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate is dependable empathetic and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Set up medical equipment in patient homes in a professional safe and timely manner.
Complete appropriate setup documentation.
Educate patients on the safe and proper use of medical equipment and disposable supplies.
Instruct patients on cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
Make routine deliveries and pickups of medical equipment and supplies.
Perform minor repairs and preventive maintenance in patient homes.
Assist patients with compliance in equipment usage.
Maintain company vehicle in clean organized and safe condition.
Comply with all federal state and local regulations.
Support company growth and financial goals.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Primary Skills:
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions quickly.
Physical ability to regularly lift/move up to 75 lbs.
Vehicle operation and navigation skills.
Secondary Skills (Good to Have):
Mechanical aptitude for minor equipment repairs.
Team-oriented mindset with multitasking capability.
Empathy and kindness when interacting with patients.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum age of 21 (to operate company vehicle).
Valid drivers license and clean Motor Vehicle Report.
Ability to pass background check.
Willingness to participate in on-call rotation.
