Job Description
Registered Nurse Cath Lab
Department: Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory
Location: Athena Medtech
Schedule: 4 Days/Week 7:00 AM 5:30 PM (40 hours/week)
Call Requirement: One overnight call shift per week (5:30 PM 7:00 AM) and one weekend per month (Friday 5:30 PM Monday 7:00 AM)

Position SummaryAthena Medtech is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheterization team. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of five years of clinical experience with a strong background in cardiovascular procedures patient monitoring and interventional care. This role requires flexibility for call rotations and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Assess prepare and position patients for diagnostic therapeutic and interventional procedures.

Administer conscious sedation and perform hemodynamic monitoring.

Develop implement and document individualized plans of care.

Communicate patient status to physicians before during and after procedures.

Assist with and/or perform diagnostic and interventional procedures as part of the Cath Lab team.

Prepare set up and manage equipment and supplies throughout procedures.

Ensure patient safety comfort and compliance with regulatory and hospital standards.

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (required).

Minimum 5 years of nursing experience; Cath Lab or cardiovascular experience strongly preferred.

ACLS and BLS certifications (required).

Ability to work effectively in high-pressure team-based clinical environments.

Strong critical thinking communication and patient care skills.
