Job Description

Position: Quality Analyst (Testing)
Location: Atlanta GA (30303)
Client: State of Georgia
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Quality Analyst with a strong background in testing Java applications to automate business processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with database technologies and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle. This position requires onsite work in Atlanta GA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute detailed test plans scenarios and cases for Java applications.
  • Validate results and identify/log bugs using tools like Jira.
  • Perform data verification with DB2 and Postgres.
  • Prepare comprehensive documentation for program and user-level support.
  • Collaborate with teams to meet testing goals and tight deadlines.

Required Skills:

  • 5 years of experience in testing Java programs.
  • Proficient in DB2 and Postgres database technologies.
  • Familiarity with Jira and testing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for user sign-off on changes.

Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of AWS and Kofax.
