Hire Resolves Client a reputable mining company in Mpumalanga is currently looking for an experienced Underground Safety Officer to join their mining team.
:Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
A National Diploma in Safety or Engineering Management would be an advantage.
Good understanding of the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) and other relevant legislation.
At least 3 years of experience working as an underground Safety Officer in the mining sector.
Blasting Certificate for Metalliferous Mining.
COMSOC 1 and 2 qualifications.
SAMTRAC certification.
Qualification in accident investigation.
Experience working in both vertical and incline shaft environments.
Knowledge of risk management related to Trackless Mobile Machinery (TMM) and Rail Bound Equipment (RBE).
Practical experience in applying risk assessment techniques.
Proven experience in conducting root cause analysis for accident and incident investigations.
Valid drivers license.
Computer literate.
Valid certificate of physical fitness.
