Purpose of the role

This is a FTC Mat Cover for 12 months.

To support the UK CFO with managing the UK revenue and staff costs across the business to ensure revenue movements are mirrored at a staff cost level and teams are resourced in the most cost-effective way. The role will include overseeing revenue and staff cost reporting and forecasting including supporting WPP reporting requirements at month end and quarterly forecasts.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with WPP partners & client leads on forecast and actuals reporting.
  • Prepare and consolidate monthly revenue and quarterly forecast files for WPP submission as well as internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee client profitability reporting
  • Prepare the revenue analysis at month end.
  • Work closely with the HR/client teams on any joiners movers and leavers
  • Monitor/track charges from global delivery hubs
  • Work closely with the revenue team to track revenue vs forecast working with the teams to provide commentary on the variances.
  • Review/analysis of timesheet data for utilisation and capacity purposes
  • Adhoc projects

Skills Experience and Qualifications

  • Strong excel skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of working in the creative/marketing/communications services sectors is desirable.
  • Professionally qualified Accountant
