Job Description
Velocitor Solutions is seeking a dedicated mobile software engineer to join our growing company. You will collaborate as part of a team of talented engineers working on creating and maintaining Android and iOS applications using native platform tools and code as well as cross-platform MAUI.
As a mobile software engineer you will need to be familiar with Android iOS or both ecosystem(s) and mobile app development including familiarity with popular app frameworks and mobile development best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing new Android and iOS applications using Kotlin Swift and C#
- Maintaining and extending existing Android and iOS applications
- Possess knowledge of and help to implement Android and iOS development best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve any defects that may arise
- Implement manual & automated testing
- Attend and actively engage in team meetings as scheduled
- Work with Product Owners to define requirements
- Develop quality products and deliver them on schedule
- Work with functional testers to ensure accuracy
- Research and learn about new technologies
- Produce technical documentation
- Fulfill miscellaneous tasks and special projects in accordance with business requirements
Requirements:
- Passionate about mobile development
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field or equivalent professional experience
- Experience developing production Android iOS or both applications through all phases
- Some combination of: Kotlin & Jetpack Compose Android Swift & Swift UI iOS and/or C# Xamarin/MAUI development experience
- MVVM and related mobile application architecture and design patterns
- Experience with JSON XAML/XML and REST Web Services
- Experience with GIT Jira and Azure pipelines
- Ability to quickly learn and understand internal systems procedures and methodologies
- API design and development experience a plus
- Knowledge of SQL a plus
- Accessibility Unit & UI testing a plus
- Must have excellent communication skills and work well with others
- Team oriented and product focused
Environment:
- This role is an in-office position
- No travel

- This position will be provided a developer laptop
