Job Description
Job Opportunity: Locum NP/PA - Urgent Care in Massillon OH
Join a dedicated urgent care team in the vibrant city of Massillon Ohio. This facility offers a compassionate environment for healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide urgent care services including evaluation and treatment of patients.
- Work 12-hour shifts 10 AM - 10 PM on a 7 on/7 off schedule with flexibility for alternative scheduling.
- Ensure patient safety and quality through adherence to clinical protocols.
- Utilize EMR (CareCloud) for documentation and patient management.
- Manage a daily census of approximately 50-60 patients.
- Support physician coverage until a full-time provider begins.
Qualifications:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
- Experience in urgent care is preferred.
- Strong clinical and patient care skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active State NP or PA license in Ohio - REQUIRED.
- DEA registration - REQUIRED by start date.
- Board Certification - REQUIRED.
- Current BLS ACLS and PALS certifications - REQUIRED.
- Clear background check - REQUIRED.
- Submission of case logs from the last 2 years - REQUIRED.
- Three peer references from the last 2 years - REQUIRED.
