Job Description
Perform pre and post operation inspections on assigned equipment and work areas. Maintain work area and equipment to ensure a clean and safe work environment. Prepare and maintain records according to job assignment. Preparation of rock and soil samples. Perform laboratory functions in accordance with company guidelines for safety environmental compliance and general work practices and procedures. QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. 1 years experience with analytical equipment preferably in a mining environment preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time required. Ability to work effectively in a team environment with people of varying skills and backgrounds required Ability to complete assigned tasks safely and efficiently with minimal supervision required. Strong written and verbal communication skills required. Demonstrated ability to perform essential functions of the position required
