Job Description

Delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinates care with other disciplines while utilizing critical thinking professional and supervisory discretion and independent Bed Count: 6Bed Types and How Divided: 4-6 ICU beds (can flex according to tele); majority telemetry patientsStaffing Ratios: 1:3-4 (telemetry) 1:1-2 (ICU)Schedule Requirements:Call Required: could be placed on call/ low census for up to 4 shifts in contractFloat Required: could be asked to float to acute care (ratios 1:3-1:5) or as helping hands in Emergency DepartmentWeekend Coverage: rotating weekendsScheduling Type: SelfUnit Systems:Medication System: OmnicellDocumentation System: EPICSupport:IV Teams: NoLift Teams: NoPharmacy: 24/7 in housePhlebotomy: 24/7Transportation: NoUnit Secretary: NoProvider Coverage: Intensivist: No Hospitalist: 24/7 in house
