Job Description

Job Opportunity: Physician - Emergency Medicine

Are you ready to join a dedicated team in a growing emergency medicine program We are seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine or EM-experienced Family Medicine/Internal Medicine Physicians to enhance our EM program at a reputable medical center in Cambridge Ohio.

Located in a vibrant community this facility offers a supportive environment where our physicians and affiliated providers deliver healthcare excellence. With a focus on hospitalist and emergency department services you will be part of a physician-led organization dedicated to improving patient outcomes.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in a 16-bed emergency department.
  • Participate in 12-hour shifts with 24 hours/day of physician coverage.
  • Utilize Meditech EMR for patient documentation and care management.
  • Deliver care within a team-oriented physician-led organization.
  • Collaborate with advanced practice providers during shifts.
  • Participate in on-site administrative support activities to streamline operations.
  • Assist in training and supervision of emergency department staff as required.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified in Emergency Medicine or Family Medicine/Internal Medicine with Emergency Medicine experience.
  • Minimum of 12 months or 2000 hours of experience in Emergency Medicine (excluding training).
  • Demonstrated list of procedures performed relevant to emergency medicine.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and healthcare improvement.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Current and valid Ohio Medical License (in hand or in process).
  • Proof of COVID Vaccination.
  • DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start).
  • Clean malpractice history and license.
