Short Description:
CNA or BHT needed for 36/48 schedule in Float Pool at MSH. Must have Adult Psych experience and strong de-escalation skills.
Full Description:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) or Behavioral Health Tech (BHT) to join our Float Pool at Montana State Hospital. This role requires flexibility strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in an Adult Psych environment.
Shift Requirements:
Day Shift: 7a7p
36/48 schedule
Prefer open shift availability
Float Pool Adult Psych experience required
Highly skilled in de-escalation techniques

Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with basic hygiene (bathing oral care dressing).
Perform health-related tasks (vital signs specimen collection emergency assistance).
Transport residents to appointments and assist as needed.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Valid Montana CNA certification.
Minimum 2 years of experience in a psychiatric facility.
1 year of travel contract experience preferred.
Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly both orally and in writing.
Strong observation and documentation skills.
Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
Basic knowledge of personal hygiene and resident care.
Preferred Certifications:
CPI Certification (highly desired)

48 Hours Per Week
$10.50 Hourly taxable
$20.75 OT Hourly taxable (initial 8 hrs)
$46.50 OT Hourly taxable (after 48 hrs)
$359.00 Meals & Incidentals Per Diem (Tax Free)
