Job Description
Job Summary:
Cleans and decontaminates surgical instrumentation and patient care equipment. Collects receives and sorts instruments.Job Description:
Follows manufacturers instructions for use and department procedures to achieve safe and effective cleaning and decontamination of surgical instrumentation and patient care equipment.
Collaborates with interdepartmental staff to prioritize and adjust workflow. Expedites processing to meet daily schedule and urgent surgery requirements for instrumentation.
Locates collects and prepares instruments for pickup or delivery within designated area or package instrumentation for offsite delivery.
Maintains equipment in accordance with organizational and regulatory protocols policies and standards.
