Online Content Specialist

PURPOSE OF JOB:

An Online Content Specialist is part of our Product Content team which works together to create manage and maintain product listings and related content for our eCommerce collaboration with other team members this role helps ensure that every product displayed online has accurate complete and visually appealing information including descriptions specifications and imagery. This position plays a key role in delivering a high-quality online shopping experience for our customers.

JOB DUTIES:

• Source compile review and verify product data before creating or loading products in our e-commerce platform.
• Coordinate and prepare product details including properties features pricing and setup.
• Write or assist in writing product descriptions to company standards incorporating SEO best practices.
• Use Microsoft Excel to organize and manage product data ensuring total accuracy prior to loading.
• Create basic digital product images in Adobe Photoshop as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure successful coordination of product rollouts and releases.
• Maintain and update product imagery and related assets within internal systems.
• Manage digital assets including product data files and image files.
• Communicate effectively with team members and departments to meet goals and deadlines.
• Assist with additional product and website-related tasks and projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• College Degree preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office including strong skills in Excel.
• Experience with Adobe Photoshop is preferred.
• Ability to work with basic HTML (opening and closing tags line break formatting and ensuring clean markup).

• Proactive resourceful and capable of driving projects forward with minimal guidance.
• Precise attention to detail and excellent proofreader.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues at all levels to achieve goals.
• Must be resourceful and have excellent problem-solving skills.
• Must be highly organized and be able to consistently meet deadlines.

• None

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Light physical effort equal to frequent lifting or moving of lightweight materials.
• Regularly required to sit or stand bend and reach.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:

• The use of Personal Protective Equipment is required per the Safety Manual.
