You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe South West Aboriginal Medical Service (SWAMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service based in Bunbury which provides a variety of health services to Aboriginal people in the South West Great South Upper wheatbelt and Peel Regions of Western Australia. SWAMS delivers a wide range of Services including: GP Clinics Primary Health Care Counselling NDIS and community host various programs. SWAMS has a strong growth strategy through partnership opportunities and future community development.
About the role
This role will see you mentoring leading and developing a team of access workers that provide a very important service to the community. The primary purpose of this position is to in accordance with the clients assessed needs manage access to disability services for identified clients. The position will review ongoing service needs in the delivery of services ensuring quality timeliness and effectiveness of service delivery. Although this role is based out of our Bunbury office there will be opportunities to travel throughout the South West Great Southern and Wheatbelt (including overnight stays).
