Job Description
We are open to considering candidates who live in the Western US and want to relocate to the San Luis Valley of Colorado.
Position is located in Center CO.
The Night Shift Production Superintendent is responsible for managing the Supervisors on Night Shift and the production activities to achieve the established production volumes production costs product quality food safety and employee safety goals of the plant. This includes responsibility for ensuring all products are produced in accordance to the established specifications quality bills of material and standard operating procedures. Responsible for working with the Shift Supervisors to ensure shift employees are trained and adhere to Company and regulatory policies programs and procedures for personal safety food safety product quality GMPs and HACCP. The Night Shift Production Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the entire plant during the night time hours.
Skills Needed:
- Ability to effectively communicate motivate and supervise others. Previous experience required demonstrating the ability to effectively manage people and processes necessary to perform the duties of the position.
- Prior experience required in plant operations that includes knowledge of raw materials production processes cost control machinery and equipment (production and packaging) and safety.
- Knowledge of all plant GMP HACCP and food safety requirements programs polices and procedures.
- Knowledge of all plant personal safety polices and procedures including OSHA requirements.
