This Position reports to:
Production SupervisorYour Responsibilities:
As a machine operator you will work with rubber or epoxy molding machines
- Operate heated molding presses to mold and cure products
- Inspect each piece for cosmetic flaws; use light to inspect interior of work pieces
- Trim excess flash from product using a scalpel or grinding tool as needed
- Remove molded pieces from press upon completion of cycle remove tooling from work pieces
- Manual material handling
- Meet established standard quality and productivity expectations
- Follow job Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) complete
- Maintain accurate quality and production records
- Proper use of PPE including safety glasses hearing protection steel toed boots and others as applicable
- All other duties as assigned
Your Background:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Prior manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic proficiency in computer systems and applications preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs
- Ability to perform repetitive operations and pull/push functions
- Ability to stand for 8 hours daily
- Comfortable bending twisting reaching
- Comfortable working with heavy equipment and in a non-climate controlled environment
- Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US

1st shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Pay Rate:
Starting at $18.25
