Job Description
- Support component design and drawing development using 2D and 3D CAD tools
- Design automotive components test cells and electrification systems
- Execute concept design preliminary design research and detailed modeling of components and assemblies
- Coordinate with prototype and production manufacturing teams to ensure quality and feasibility
- Prepare and release engineering drawings in accordance with project timelines
- Perform design evaluations analysis and reporting
- Manage scheduling and documentation for design deliverables
- Proficiency in 2D/3D modeling software
- Experience with CATIA V6 and 3DExperience is a strong plus
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and standard engineering tools
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 23 years of experience in automotive design using CAD software
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings standards and codes
- Knowledge of mechanical and cost calculations raw material codes and design theory
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently
- Strong project management data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
