We are seeking a Remote Data Entry Specialist to join our team and assist us with our data entry requirements. We are searching for someone who is detail-oriented and can carefully follow directions. The Data Entry Specialist will be responsible for accurately and timely entering data into our system. They may also need to be able to train oversee and encode massive amounts of data at the same time. However regardless of expertise you must be comfortable with Microsoft Office particularly Word and Excel.
As a Data Entry Specialist you must provide internal support through data input and data entry processing invoices and reviewing payment statements to ensure accuracy and enters updates and maintains data in internal databases relating to customers products and suppliers. You must provide technical support to new and existing internal processes while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. We are seeking a Data Entry Specialist to conduct research as needed to resolve problems proactively any discrepancies and user errors.
Data Entry Specialist Responsibilities:
- Perform all data entry activities such as sorting proofreading updating shipping and storing.
- Maintain data files precisely.
- Compile sort check and correct data before entering it.
- Examine the data to ensure its completeness and accuracy.
- Contact the authors of the original materials to resolve data errors and collect missing data.
- After entry manage the filing and routing of source documents.
- Keep track of completed work.
- To avoid backlogging update data in suitable databases in an accurate and timely manner.
- To increase overall data quality establish data naming conventions and consistent data definitions.
- By exploring and examining databases you can process and address data questions.
- Files should be entered and updated into Excel spreadsheets.
- As needed do administrative tasks such as operating office equipment or data filing.
Requirements And Skills:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- 1 year of recent data entry experience is required.
- Excellent word processing/data input accuracy and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Display computer skills in areas like as word processing spreadsheets and database systems.
- Capable of managing data confidentiality and adhering to security procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate great customer connections and negotiate challenging interactions/escalations
- Ability to handle a high-volume task autonomously; neatness and precision of work; flexibility and professionalism in completing a variety of duties with fluctuating demands and priorities; great organizational skills.
