Job Description
OurForMotionpatient care clinics make up a vast network spread across multiple countries. They are modern comfortable spaces where patients have access to innovative solutions expert guidance and personalized care and support.
We are seeking to hire an on-site (full-time) Certified Orthotist for an incredible opportunity to grow and expand your career in our clinic. This clinic has a talented team focusing on the highest level of patient this role the candidate will work alongside other practitioners to create quality orthotic devices. A systematic approach will be used to transition the candidate through various competencies and other responsibilities.
Core Responsibilities
Patient evaluations
Detailed notation in Nymbl
Hand casting/Scanning all amputation levels and for custom Prosthetic & Orthotic devices
Modifications diagnostic fittings delivery follow-up and visiting the hospital for evaluation and delivery of post-op devices.
Providing support at the hospital for the staff orthotics as needed
Performing Orthotic marketing activities which may include visiting referral sources hospitals and clinics speaking with physicians and providing in-services.
Interact with physicians and therapists about the patients needs and formulation of treatment plans
Patient and family education
Other duties as assigned.
Skills Knowledge andQualifications
Must be a Certified Orthotist by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics
Masters Degree in Orthotics from an accredited university
3-5 years of experience preferred but not required
