Join Our Neonatal Team in Macon GA!
We are seeking an additional NNP to join our outstanding group of Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at our Macon Georgia practice.
New Childrens Hospital 2019 - Level-III NICU and a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence!
Atrium Health Navicent Beverly Knight Olson Childrens Hospital located in Macon Georgia is the only dedicated pediatric hospital in central and south Georgia. Our advanced facilities include a 66-bed state-of-the-art Level-III NICU with comprehensive subspecialty support for critically ill newborns.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality neonatology care to patients in a Level-III NICU.
- Work variable shifts including 10-hour days Monday through Thursday 8-hour shifts on weekends and 16-hour night shifts.
- Utilize advanced technologies such as high-frequency ventilation and nitric oxide therapy.
- Collaborate with a team of experienced NNPs and neonatal specialists.
- Engage in clinical work affiliated with Mercer Medical School.
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing.
- Board Certified NNP (National Nurse Practitioner certification required).
- Minimum of 2 years of current experience as a NNP (excluding RN experience).
- Ability to obtain Georgia state license.
- DEA registration required prior to start date.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Masters Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing - REQUIRED
- APRN National Specialty Certification - Board Certified NNP - REQUIRED
- Georgia state license - REQUIRED
- DEA registration - REQUIRED
