Student Employment: Development & Community Work Study Intern

Responsibilities:
Assist Director with the development of new programs and initiatives:
identifying and contacting potential partners
researching programs and initiatives
development of program parameters
creation of promotional materials
creation of flyers program materials and educational components
participate and help lead events
assist in assessment of programs and continual refinement
In regards to Community Work Study this position will be responsible for:
record keeping and management of program documents
distributing information to participants and contacting participants for follow-up record keeping and scheduling
assisting with the development and implementation and presentation of training and orientation programs and evaluations
assist with the design and promotion of Community Work Study positions
analyze data reports and assessments as well as the development of reports that capture necessary data
assist with all events under immediate scope of this position and other Office events as needed
other duties as assigned which will include assistance with Open Houses and Office events such as Bobcat Community Builders special events and Be Kind Leave Your Food Behind
Qualifications:
Good interpersonal skills
Strong oral and written communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word Excel and Outlook
Hours of Position:
6-8 hours per week
Office hours M-F 9-5pm
Occasional weekend and evening responsibilities
