About the role
Supervises team of entry to intermediate level Procurement professionals or supervisors of Procurement staff setting day-to-day goals and objectives. Monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with obligations. Responsible for responses to client inquiries about orders and payments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervises execution of processes standards and operational plans in support of Procurement strategy including RFPs negotiations cost accountability and / or program execution.
- Plan and establish goals for effective vendor selection and management.
- Plan response to customer inquiries about order status changes or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Authorizes purchase orders and approves payments to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly.
- Monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Prepares and reviews request for proposals (RFP) and bid packages.
Requirments
Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling prioritizing coaching and process execution
Requires specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices
University Degree and a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience
