Mississauga Oakville Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Oakville Ontario Canada is seeking aBoard-certified Medical Oncologist(permanent full-time) to join our specialty health care team. We will also consider applicants who are nearing the completion of their residency training and will be eligible to sit for board exams.

The successful candidate will work and collaborate with one other Oncologist (DACVIM (Oncology)). The specialty team currently includes a board-certified cardiologist two anesthesiologists two neurologists three criticalists four surgeons and four internists.

After hours and weekends care is provided through our emergency clinic and critical care service staffed with twelve full/part-time emergency also support a rotating internship currently with three interns.

About Us: Mississauga Oakville Veterinary Emergency Hospital (VCA Canada) is a 24-hour emergency and referral specialty hospital which operates out of a 21000 square foot facility. The hospital is newly renovated to help facilitate our ever-growing caseload.

Opportunities for professional development include teaching providing CE to our referring veterinarians and formal mentorship of interns.

Oakvilleis in the center of southwestern Ontario and part of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) close to numerous cultural activities and metropolitan centers but with ready access to lakes and rural living.
