Job Description
Langley Christian School is accepting applications for a High School English & French Teacher to begin September 2 2025 June 26 2026. This is a fixed term posting to cover a leave.

THE POSITION
- The High School English & French Teacher will collaborate with members of staff to create innovative programming and learning opportunities.
- You will ensure effective implementation of inclusive practices for all students while creating a rigorous learning environment.
- You possess energy commitment and readiness to participate in extra-curricular programming by coaching basketball or volleyball.
QUALIFICATIONS
- BC Ministry of Education Certification
- Relevant university qualifications (Bachelor of Education minor concentration or major in English and French)
- Previous experience teaching at a secondary level
- Experience at an independent school is an asset
- A comprehensive understanding of language curriculum as per Ministry of Education BC documents
- Strong computer skills including Google suite
- Model high standards in teaching practice interactions with all stakeholders
- Known to communicate negotiate collaborate and build partnerships effectively
