We are partnering with a respected leader in the enterprise software solutions sector. For years they have provided dynamic robust software to a portfolio of key clients enabling them to operate more efficiently and make smarter business decisions. This is an opportunity to join a technically excellent team in a role that moves beyond simple reporting and into the realm of genuine business impact.
Performance Objectives for Year One
Success in this role will be defined by your ability to achieve the following outcomes within the first 12 months:
- Re-engineer the Business Reporting Suite: Lead the project to overhaul the companys existing reporting capabilities. Your goal is to design develop and implement a new suite of automated reports and interactive dashboards using tools like QlikSense and Jasper Reports resulting in faster more accurate and more actionable insights for management.
- Enhance Data Quality and Integrity: Within the first six months take charge of developing and implementing new data collection systems and validation frameworks. Success in this objective will be a significant reduction in data errors and a measurable improvement in the statistical efficiency and quality of the data available for analysis.
- Drive Process Improvement through Analysis: Proactively identify analyze and interpret key patterns within complex client and internal datasets. You will be expected to locate and define at least 3-4 new high-impact process improvement opportunities that can be implemented to enhance business efficiency or client satisfaction.
- Become a Key Partner to the Development Team: By filtering cleaning and analyzing data you will identify and help diagnose underlying code or system problems. You will work closely with the development team to provide the data-driven evidence needed to correct issues thereby improving software performance and stability.
- Master the Data Environment: Within 90 days acquire a deep understanding of the primary and secondary data sources (Oracle MySQL PostgreSQL) and become the subject matter expert for data acquisition modeling and mining techniques within the team.
