Hourly Rate: $39.22

What Youll Do:

In this position as aPublic Utilities Administrator 1you will:

• Supervise a team of customer service investigators
• Perform quality assurance coaching and employee development functions
• Act as subject matter expert for the telecom water and household goods industries
• Handle complex and/or escalated matters

Report in location:180 E. Broad St. Columbus Ohio 43215 Franklin County.

PUCO core hours of operation are Monday-Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm however daily start/end times may vary based on operational need across PUCO departments. Most positions perform work on-site at the PUCO Central Office. Flex-time schedules are based on operational need and require supervisor approval.

Salary Information:Unless required by legislation or union contract starting salary is set at the lowest rate of the salary most cases successful employees will increase a step in the salary range within six months with subsequent step increases occurring every addition the State of Ohio offers cost of living adjustments longevity supplements after five years of public service and wellness incentives.

24 mos. position involving research legal auditing/accounting rate analyses supervisory/managerial duties or other aspect of public utility or transportation fields.

-Or 24 mos. position comparable to Public Utilities Administrator 1 23151 with government agency or public utility.

-Or 36 mos. exp. as utility rate specialist with expertise in specific area to be assigned.

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in business administration public administration finance accounting economics or engineering (i.e. field of study must correlate with duties to be assigned).

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications For Employment noted above.
