Position Overview:
Under the supervision of the Associate Director of Operation and Technology Services Office the Project Manager Business Applications is responsible for managing monitoring reporting and delivering a portfolio of technology-focused projects at Harris County Public Health. The role involves leadership in coordinating cross-departmental initiatives ensuring alignment with agency-wide public health objectives and supporting strategic innovation in technology deployment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate cross-departmental project teams by establishing clear objectives defining deliverables assigning responsibilities and ensuring all activities align with established public health priorities and agency goals.

Education:
Bachelors degree in business administration computer science or any other relevant field.
Experience:
3 years of experience in project management preferably in public health technology or operations.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in PM frameworks (PMBOK PRINCE2) and methodologies (Waterfall Agile Hybrid).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.

Full-Time Regular Position.
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines.
May require travel.
