Join Our Team as an OB/GYN Hospitalist in Seattle WA!
Pediatrix is excited to invite Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalists to join our dynamic collaborative and mission-driven team in the beautiful greater Seattle area. Enjoy working in prestigious facilities like Swedish Medical Center-First Hill and Swedish Issaquah offering flexible 24-hour shifts along with a generous sign-on bonus.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive OB/GYN hospitalist care in two major facilities: Swedish Medical Center-First Hill (6000 deliveries/year) and Swedish Issaquah (1800 deliveries/year).
- Support Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) and OB providers with labor and deliveries surgical assists and obstetric emergencies.
- Manage obstetric triage and emergency situations including ectopic pregnancies and torsions.
- Perform routine GYN procedures including diagnostic laparoscopy supporting the Emergency Department.
- Participate in academic activities teaching OB fellows and residents from OB and family medicine programs.
- Collaborate with a respected maternal-fetal medicine team in a collegial and supportive environment.
- Work a flexible schedule of 68 24-hour shifts per month promoting a healthy work-life balance.

- This is a permanent full-time position; residency within the immediate local area is required.

Qualifications
- Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
- Valid Washington state medical license (or willingness to obtain) REQUIRED
- OB Hospitalist work experience - PREFERRED
- Clean malpractice and license history HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Must reside in the area or be willing to relocate REQUIRED
- DEA must be obtained prior to start REQUIRED
License and Certification Requirements
- Valid Washington state medical license or willingness to obtain.
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in OB/GYN.
- DEA license (must be obtained prior to start).
