Job Description
Trainee Service Engineer / Trainee Installation Engineer / Trainee Engineer required to join a global leading engineering manufacturer.
The successful Trainee Service Engineer / Trainee Installation Engineer / Trainee Engineer will be responsible for supporting the installation servicing and maintenance of pipework and compressed air systems. This includes working with a range of equipment such as compressors vacuum pumps blowers dryers nitrogen generators and related systems at customer sites across the North West.
The Trainee Service Engineer / Trainee Installation Engineer / Trainee Engineer will ideally have hands-on mechanical engineering experience coupled with the drive and willingness to develop their skills in installation and servicing for a global manufacturer. Qualifications such as NVQ City & Guilds HNC/HND F-Gas CSCS IPAF or similar would be highly advantageous.
- 27000 - 32000 depending on experience

Trainee Service Engineer / Trainee Installation Engineer / Trainee EngineerRole
- Install various compressed air products and pipework at customer sites across the North West of the UK.
- Installing pipework using a variety of materials such as aluminium copper stainless steel threaded steel and galvanized steel.
- Install compressed air nitrogen and water pipelines into a wide range of manufacturing environments.
- Carry out testing setup and basic commissioning of equipment under supervision.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
- Work across customer sites throughout the Northwest with travel to Chester for training and parts collection.

- Willingness to learn and develop skills in installation servicing and mechanical/electrical engineering systems.
- Experience as a Trainee Engineer Apprentice Engineer Graduate Engineer Mechanical Engineer Marine Engineer Entry Level Engineer Electrical Engineer or similar would be advantageous.
- Hands-on experience in electrical and/or mechanical work with a desire to progress in a technical engineering role.
- Understanding of three-phase electrics and controls would be a plus.
- Mechanical qualification (NVQ City & Guilds HNC HND apprenticeship FGas CSCS IPAF or similar) preferred but not essential.
- Determination to learn the compressed air industry and enthusiasm for career progression.
- Must be commutable to Chester for training and parts collection with flexibility to travel across the Northwest for site work.
