Location: Burlingame CA (onsite - 3 days per week)

About the role:

Were seeking a Contract Senior Product Designer to create intuitive engaging and secure user experiences for our partners and merchants leveraging our embedded finance products. Youll design across both hosted and embedded solutions and play a key role in launching new products.

Responsibilities:

Manage design projects end-to-end with minimal supervision and help design responsive and scalable web experiences across multiple platforms.
Ship polished high-quality work with attention to detail and a clear why behind every decision.
Collaborate closely with product managers engineers stakeholders and other designers in a fast-paced environment to define and build 0-1 projects and improve existing products/features.
Contribute to the development of our design system including building new components and advocating for the consistent use of design standards across our products.

Qualifications:

5 years of product design experience with a portfolio that showcases shipped product experiences and an excellence in craft.
Experience working along the entire product design spectrum from initial research to prototyping to polished designs to post-launch evaluation.
Experience designing responsive web applications for business users.
Systems-level thinker with proven experience working collaboratively on complex products and ecosystems.
Ability to turn complex requirements into simple and elegant solutions.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners and stakeholders to deliver positive outcomes for the product and business.
Self-starter who is comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
In-office in Burlingame CA at least 3 days per week.

Bonus points:

Fintech experience and/or experience in other complex regulated industries.
Experience building and maintaining design systems.
Visual design experience to occasionally help out with Marketing projects e.g. website assets (not a primary responsibility).
B2C product design experience.
Familiarity with HTML CSS or front-end technologies.

Applicants located in the San Francisco Bay Area the expected hourly range for this role is $70.00 - $95.00 USD per hour. Final rate may vary within the range provided based on prior experience expertise skills and other factors.
