Senior Product Designer - Contract
Location: Burlingame CA (onsite - 3 days per week)

About the role:
Were seeking a Contract Senior Product Designer to create intuitive engaging and secure user experiences for our partners and merchants leveraging our embedded finance products. Youll design across both hosted and embedded solutions and play a key role in launching new products.
You will play a critical role in simplifying complex financial processes ensuring accessibility and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. This role will work cross-functionally with Product Managers Engineers and stakeholders to create seamless user-centric designs for our responsive web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead 0 to 1 projects designing new experiences from the ground up.
- Develop and maintain design systems to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Create user-friendly business-focused designs that align with brand guidelines.
- Conduct user research and apply data-driven insights to inform design decisions.
- Lead design workshops and review sessions to align on direction.
- Collaborate closely with front-end engineers guiding design implementation.
- Manage end-to-end UX project tasks with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of Product design experience preferably in the fintech space.
- Expertise in Figma and Jira for design and collaboration.
- Strong experience with responsive web application design.
- Ability to work within and expand reusable design systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Experience designing for business applications ensuring intuitive UX for partners and merchants.
- Ability to be in-office at least 3 days per week
Nice to Have:
- Experience in B2C product design.
- Familiarity with HTML CSS or front-end technologies
Applicants located in the San Francisco Bay Area the expected hourly range for this role is $70.00 - $95.00 USD per hour. Final rate may vary within the range provided based on prior experience expertise skills and other factors.
