Covenant Medical Group part of Covenant HealthCare is seeking a full-time Neurosurgeon preferably with neuroendovascular training to join a growing multidisciplinary neuroscience team in Saginaw Michigan.
Job Description:
- Join a robust and expanding neurosciences program within a 650-bed hospital and Level II Trauma Center
- Work alongside 3 neurosurgeons and 4 medical neurologists supported by neuroradiologists and physiatrists
- Perform a range of neurosurgical procedures with a preference for candidates trained in neuroendovascular surgery
- Serve a high-volume emergency department with 100000 visits per year and a dedicated 10-bed Neurotrauma Critical Care Unit
- Collaborate in a Primary Stroke Center working toward Comprehensive Stroke Center designation
- Utilize advanced neuroimaging diagnostic tools and surgical technology
- Participate in stroke rehabilitation through a Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital joint venture with access to inpatient rehab and neuropsychology consult services
- Contribute to medical education and mentorship opportunities (if desired)
- Deliver care in a physician-led culture focused on collaboration innovation and patient-centered outcomes
