Customer Insights Specialist

Manchester or Oxford (Hybrid)

26000 - 34000

Discretionary Company Bonus Scheme

Monday Friday 9am 5.30pm (1 hour lunch) (37.5 hours per week)

The Role & Team

Customer Insights Specialist at Oodle Car Finance.

The Customer Insights Specialist at Oodle Car Finance plays a vital role in helping us understand our customers and the car finance landscape improving the way we communicate and ensuring we deliver great experiences.

In this role youll be designing surveys analysing data spotting trends in reviews keeping an eye on competitors and turning insight into action. Youll work closely with our Commercial team to make sure our campaigns are informed by what really matters to customers and car dealer and finance broker partners.

Your impact:

  • Working cross-functionally with Marketing Sales Product Customer Service and Operations to provide valuable insights and actionable recommendations
  • Designing and delivering surveys for both customers and partners (e.g. new customer NPS 6-monthly NPS and annual partner survey)
  • Writing and using discussion guides to interview introducers and creating insightful summaries
  • Analysing qualitative and quantitative data sources and turning them into holistic clear insights and recommendations for Committees Senior Leaders and teams
  • Keeping a pulse on industry news and market trends through reports industry news horizon scanning and relevant publications
  • Creating data-driven industry and customer insights for Board-level reporting
  • Conducting competitor analysis to support decision-making across the business
  • Supporting with interviews with partners and pulling together insightful summaries
  • Carrying out ad hoc research to support strategic initiatives - such as introducer summaries before ExCo visits
  • Monitor and report on brand perception through channels such as Google Reviews Trustpilot and other customer feedback platforms identifying trends and opportunities to improve customer sentiment
  • Supporting the Marketing teams with campaign insight communication testing and customer research

Who you are:

  • Experience in research insights fields (either agency-side in-house or from a related field)
  • Confident designing surveys and know what makes a good question. Experience with survey platforms preferred
  • Commercially focused with a track record of linking insight to marketing investment and business impact
  • Extremely high attention to detail
  • A curious mind and enjoy turning data into meaningful stories
  • Ability to identify key insights within large amounts of information
  • Able to critically evaluate data and information to consider and assess its accuracy
  • A sincere interest in the motor or finance industries
  • Comfortable presenting findings to stakeholders at all levels
  • Organised and able to juggle multiple tasks or projects at once
  • You have a strong ability to translate quantitative and qualitative data into strategic and practical business guidance
  • Proven stakeholder management with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint).
  • Experience with tools like SurveyMonkey Toluna Ballpark Google Analytics Typeform and Trustpilot tools is a plus
