Job Description
Advance Your Career as a Senior Management Accountant!
At Intercity Technology we know its our people not just our tech that make us truly special. We are looking for a detail-driven and proactiveSenior Management Accountantto join our Finance team. Reporting to theFinance Controller youll play a key role in shaping our financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making.
Youll lead the monthly management accounts process and support wider financial reporting ensuring accuracy compliance and insight across our operations.
Key Responsibilities as a Senior Management Accountant:
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
- Ensure revenue and expenses are correctly reflected and reconciled.
- Maintain control accounts and oversee journal postings.
- Produce detailed P&L and balance sheet schedules.
- Prepare quarterly UK VAT returns and support audit processes.
- Analyse KPIs and provide commentary to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive cost efficiencies.
- Support ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
Requirements:
Education & Qualifications:
- CIMA or ACCA qualified.
Experience & Knowledge:
- Minimum 3 years experience in management accounting.
- Experience with Sage X3 (beneficial but not essential).
- Strong background in financial accounting and reporting.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong Excel proficiency.
- Clear communicator with the ability to partner across the business.
- Proactive enthusiastic and keen to make a difference.
