We are seeking a Scientific writer to join our Bioprocessing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong scientific background who can create high-quality technical content and transform complex bioprocessing concepts into engaging publications and marketing materials. Role Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a scientific content strategy including white papers application notes case studies peer-reviewed publications and webinars.
- Partner with R&D Product Management and Applications teams to source technical insights and translate them into compelling marketing narratives.
- Own the creation and review process for scientific collateral (posters abstracts technical brochures digital content).
- Support product launches with technically accurate messaging and data-driven storytelling.
- Manage scientific presence at conferences and symposia including poster preparation speaker abstracts and technical sessions.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing colleagues to align scientific content with demand generation campaigns.
- Track the reach and impact of technical publications and adapt strategy accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications
- Masters degree or higher in Biology Biotechnology Biochemistry or related field
- 35 years of experience in scientific writing publications or technical content development (industry or academia).
- Solid publication record (authorship or contributions to papers posters or conference presentations).
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt complex science to different audiences (scientific peers vs. customers).
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (R&D product marketing).
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in biotech bioprocessing pharma/biopharma or life sciences tools.
- Familiarity with marketing channels (web digital campaigns event marketing) and how to position scientific content within them.
- Knowledge of publication processes and conference submission requirements.
