What youll be doing

• Delivering trainingin Marine Control Systems and Diagnostics
• Supporting departmental taskswithin your skill set as required
• Maintaining and updating training materialsto ensure accuracy and relevance.
• Assessing student courseworkand provide constructive feedback on performance.
• Ensuring trainee welfare and progressionthroughout the training delivery.
• Following all security health safety and environmental procedures while maintaining your own professional development records.

What were looking for

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Technical Certificate in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• Be proficient in the use of IT (hardware/software) within the workplace
• Proven experience in Electrical and Electronic Engineering principles.

Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Qualification / DCTS Defence Train The Trainer Course or equivalent (successful completion)
• Previous instructional experience in a military or civilian engineering environment

About Selborne

Selborne is a wide scale 12 year transformation of Royal Navy Training. The contract worth GBP 1 billion was awarded in December 2020 to a consortium led by Capita to deliver and modernise training for the RN. The consortia of partners known as Team Fisher includes Raytheon UK Fujitsu and University of Lincoln together with 14 other UK-based suppliers.
