Subaru of Georgetown is looking for an additional counter person for our Parts Department. We have a fun but fast paced environment.
Previous parts experience is preferred.
We have an experienced parts team here that will be happy to assist with any questions you may have during your workday. This team is hardworking and has a very positive attitude about their jobs and we will expect no less from any new member of the team.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Answering retailcalls and helping walk in customers.
Assist customers with product inquiries and sales.
Monitoring our electronic parts requisition system from the technicians.
Keeping fast-moving parts stocked on the back parts counter.
Communicate accurate information.
Meet sales and productivity objectives.
Assist in inventory control and prevent shrinkage.
Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality.
Provide flexibility on shift hours lunch schedule and overtime requests.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualities needed to succeed include:
Excellent organization and communication (written and verbal) skills with a strong attention to detail
English/Spanish bilingualism preferred -comfortable reading/speaking Spanish
Basic computer skills (Windows Internet Email Parts catalogs etc.)
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly through the course of the day without assistance
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts commissions percentages etc.
Squat and stand for extended periods of time
Must have held a valid drivers license for at least 1 year
Hours:
This is a full-time position
Shifts alternate between parts employees
Open Monday Friday 7:00 AMto 6:00 PM
Rotating Saturdays from7:00 AMto 4:00 PM
Off on Sunday
Compensation:
Starting at $45000 - $50000 a year (base plus commission and bonuses)
