Teledyne Hanson Research is a global technology company based in Southern California that invents engineers and manufactures dissolution and diffusion test instruments that set the standard for the entire industry. We take great pride in the fact that our research and equipment help ensure the worlds pharmaceuticals are pure safe and Hanson Research is a worldwide leader in the design and manfucturing of dissolution and diffusion test instruments for pharmaceuticals that set the standard for the entire industry. We are currently taking applications for a field service engineer to join our Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation and/or repair of Teledyne Hanson Research instruments. You will also work with the sales teams on identifying potential service contract possibilities and strive to provide a high level of service and spport for our ResponsibilityProvide quality professional HRCare support to all scheduled service and installations throughout the USPerform technical support via phone and emailPerform on-call repairs when necessarReport expenses according to corporate T&E policyAssist the service manager in the training of new employeesProvide field data to engineering for product improvementsPlan for upcoming travel or projectsProgress ongoing or new cases/technical issuesMaintain up-to-date parts and calibrated tools inventoryGeneral RequirementsAccess to a well maintained and reliable automobileDetail oriented with good organizational and problem solving skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independentlyAbility to travel overnight and on weekends for extended periods when necessaryPrior Experience5 years in a related technical positionProficient with MS Office applicationsEducationBachelors Degree in a technical or scientific disciplineJob SkillsAbility to work on projects effectively with other team membersRead and understand engineering drawings and specificationsRead and understand complex proceduresDemonstrate skill with measuring and test equipmentTeledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
